What is a high temperature and high pressure valve?

High temperature and high pressure valve is an automatic pressure relief protection device opened by inlet static pressure and it is one of the most important safety accessories of pressure vessels.

The function of the high temperature valve is to open automatically relying on the pressure of the medium itself and quickly discharge a certain amount of media when the pressure inside the vessel exceeds a certain value. When the pressure inside the vessel drops to the allowable value, the high temperature relief valve automatically closes, keeping the pressure inside the vessel always lower than the upper limit of the allowable pressure. The high temperature valve automatically prevents accidents due to overpressure, so it is also called the ultimate protector of the pressure vessel.
